No MOre Fuckin’ Around:
The accelerator
A six-month photography and business mentorship
with Ash Raddatz and Jenna Shouldice
combining photographic development, business education, honest critique & feedback, and practical guidance to help you build stronger work and a business that supports it
Beginning
January 2027
PHOTOGRAPHY AND THE BUSINESS OF BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER ARE CHANGING.
Making photographs and accessing information about how to run a photography business have never been easier, yet for many photographers, building a sustainable practice feels increasingly complicated.
Social media doesn't work the way it used to, AI is changing how images are created and businesses operate, and a saturated market combined with economic uncertainty is making it harder for photographers to reach clients and communicate the value of their work.
We don't think the answer is simply to produce more content, follow more trends, or become better at pleasing an algorithm. We believe photographers need to develop a strong photographic voice alongside the skills and strategies to build a sustainable business around it.
That means understanding what you want to communicate through your photographs, recognizing who connects with that work, knowing your numbers, and finding ways to reach people beyond social media through genuine relationships, community connections, referrals, and thoughtful marketing.
It's about developing your photography and making informed decisions about the kind of business you want to build, rather than following somebody else's formula for success.
That's the approach we take inside No More F*ckin' Around: The Accelerator.
carve a path of your own with courage & clarity
No More Fckin' Around provides the education, guidance, and support to help you give shape and voice to who you are as a person, a photographer, and a business owner, so you can unapologetically put yourself and your work out into the world.
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY AND YOUR BUSINESS SHOULD INFORM EACH OTHER.
Whether you're just beginning to find your direction or have been photographing professionally for years and feel ready to rethink how you're working, NMFA is an opportunity to examine where you are, explore where you want to go, and question the expectations that may be holding you back.
The photographs you make, the subjects you're drawn to, the stories you want to tell, and the way you see the world are all part of what makes your perspective yours. We believe your instincts, interests, and creative ambitions should be at the center of how you build your business, rather than something you have to compromise in order to make a living.
Instead of starting with what the market wants and trying to become that photographer, we start with you. What interests you? What do your photographs communicate, and what do you want them to communicate? What kind of work do you want to be known for, and what do you need your business to provide financially, personally, and creatively?
Throughout the mentorship, we'll help you discover or refine your photographic voice, question the habits and perfectionism that may be limiting your growth, and develop the skills and courage to make intentional decisions about your photography. Alongside that creative development, we'll work on understanding who connects with your photographs, communicating their value, and building practical business strategies that support the work you want to make and the life you want to lead.

PHOTOGRAPHY WITH JENNA
Through lessons, photographic assignments, and group critiques, Jenna will help you examine how you see, strengthen your storytelling, experiment with different approaches, and develop a more intentional photographic voice.
You'll also explore editing and sequencing, learning to recognize which photographs communicate your ideas most effectively and how individual images contribute to a stronger, more cohesive portfolio.
BUSINESS WITH ASH
We'll work through the foundations of building a business around your photographic identity, including branding, pricing, sales, websites, marketing, client relationships, and the systems that support your work with an emphasis on developing strategies that reflect your values, goals, and the kind of photography you want to make.
We'll also explore how to find and connect with clients in a changing market, particularly through offline marketing, partnerships, referrals, and community relationships, rather than relying entirely on social media visibility.
LEARNING, IMPLEMENTATION, AND FEEDBACK
Throughout the program, you'll apply what you're learning to your own photography and business, with guidance and feedback to help you make decisions, evaluate what's working, and adjust as you go.
“The content was beyond what I could have imagined…
My experience with NMFA was deeply transformative…”
The content was beyond what I could have imagined…My overall with NMFA was deeply transformative. I signed up hoping that I would learn new systems that could help me get my so that I could maybe have a profitable business and ended the year with not only a wealth of resources on how to achieve my goals as a business owner, but a deep seated belief that to not follow through and execute these plans would be a massive disservice to myself and to clients. The NMFA mentors and experience truly helped me see that I have something to offer the world that is unique to me and my way of seeing.

“Best investment I’ve made in my career”
No More Fucking Around was the best and most complete mentorship I have ever done. The mentors are amazing and extremely generous with their time and knowledge. They helped me take my art and business to a new level. Ashleigh taught me to look at marketing in a way that made way more sense and removed the overwhelm I felt from it. Jenna helped me nail down my artistic voice and grow my confidence. Best investment I've made in my career.

There are no refunds for No More F*ckin’ Around 6 Month Mentoring Program
We’ve helped many photographers over the years with the strategies we teach in this program. Because of the access to the curriculum, tools, resources, templates, videos, etc. and the online nature of this program, there are no refunds available under any circumstance. Make sure you make an informed decision about joining, as your purchase is a commitment to 6 months and you are responsible for completing your payments.
SIX MONTHS, WITH THE OPTION TO CONTINUE.
No More F*ckin' Around began as a year-long mentorship, and over the years we've seen how valuable sustained education, experimentation, feedback, and accountability can be. We've also learned that committing to an entire year is a significant undertaking, particularly when balancing photography and business with family, other work, and everything else life throws your way.
We've restructured NMFA into a six-month Accelerator that brings together the essential photography and business education, with an emphasis on putting what you learn into practice and making meaningful progress along the way. For those who want to continue developing their work and business, there's the option to enroll in an additional six months of mentorship, but the Accelerator is a complete experience in its own right.
Meet your mentors
Ash rADDATZ & JENNA SHOULDICE
For the past 10+ years, we’ve helped thousands of photographers find their voice, refine their vision, and build businesses and work rooted in meaning, sustainability, and impact.
There’s a growing hunger for real, honest, emotionally-resonant imagery.
Publications, galleries, and clients are all looking for work that stands out and says something.
We’ve helped photographers at every stage (from those just picking up a camera to those who’ve been doing this for years) get published, land exhibits, build businesses that actually pay them, and step into roles as creative leaders in their communities.
Together, we want to help you become more intentional in your photography, more informed in your business decisions, and better equipped to continue developing both.

FAQ
-
Group Zoom sessions are 2-3 times per month and take place on Wednesdays at 10:00 am PST / 1pm EST / 7pm Berlin.
-
We'll meet live two to three times each month, and you'll have assignments and exercises to work on between sessions.
The amount of time you spend will depend on the assignment, your experience, and the goals you've set for yourself. Some projects will require more time than others, particularly when you're arranging photographic sessions or implementing changes in your business.
We encourage students to make room for the education and practical work, while recognizing that everyone is balancing different responsibilities and circumstances.
Live Group calls usually last about 1.5 to 2 hours (sometimes a bit longer) and are recorded. If needed, you can pop in and out, and if you know you are going to miss a call, you can submit your questions, photos, assignments, etc., beforehand and then watch the recording at 1.5x speed ;)
For the assignments-
During photography months, you will typically be asked to find a family or subject to photograph and to spend a certain amount of time with them (1 hour, 4-6 hours, full day) and then select photos to submit for review/critique.
You can plan on roughly 10 hours per month during the business months, depending on the assignment/topic. Time commitment varies because some assignments take a bit more time than others and require introspective work or research. If you need to spread the time out more, you can still work on your business assignments during your photography months and submit for feedback once you have completed the assignment. -
It’s no problem if you miss a live session.
All live group sessions are recorded and will be uploaded to the education platform for you to access.
-
Yes. Every student receives one private 60-minute mentoring session with Ash and one with Jenna during the six-month program.
These sessions can be used to discuss your photography, business, individual goals, or specific questions that would benefit from more personal attention. Additional one-on-one sessions can also be purchased throughout the mentorship, subject to availability.

It's a fair question. The photography industry is changing, and economic uncertainty is making business decisions more complicated for many photographers.
We've also heard from a lot of photographers who want to move forward, creatively and professionally, but have found themselves hesitant to do much of anything and feeling almost paralyzed with overwhelm. When life already feels overwhelming and the future uncertain, even taking a small step can feel like a risk.
NMFA won't guarantee bookings or income (though our previous students have had great success), but it will give you the education, feedback, and practical guidance to strengthen your photography, better understand your business, and develop strategies for reaching clients and sustaining your work in a changing market.
A significant part of the business education involves looking at how photographers can reach clients beyond social media, develop meaningful relationships, understand their pricing and profitability, and build strategies that are appropriate for their work and life.
We believe there's value in finding ways to move forward, even when the circumstances aren't ideal or the next step feels uncomfortable. But only you can decide whether this is the right investment for you, both financially and personally.
We want people to invest in NMFA because the education and mentoring make sense for where they are, not because they've been convinced that purchasing a program is the only way forward.
-
Yes! Over the past 5+ years, we have worked with a number of students in NMFA who are just starting out in business, and others who have had a business for 15+ years.
Our students who have been in business for 15+ years always say they wish they would have known and worked through something like this earlier.
And our students who are new to business are so grateful to have developed and implemented a ton of new strategies and skills before wasting time, energy, and money on things that do not work for them.
-
Absolutely Yes!
NMFA isn’t just for beginners, it’s for photographers who are ready to evolve.
If you’ve been in business for years, this program will help you:
Refine your voice and portfolio to reflect where you're going, not just where you've been
Let go of the busywork and strategies that no longer serve you
Save time, energy, and money by focusing only on what actually aligns
Reignite your creativity and stretch beyond the “successful but stuck” feeling
Create a more sustainable and fulfilling practice, on your terms
Even seasoned photographers need space for continued growth. NMFA is that space.
-
Students should have a solid understanding of the technical aspects of their camera. We consider NMFA an advanced program because it cuts out any fluff and requires actual work and implementation (which we help you with ;) And even though there is no fluff, we still have fun!). The concepts and topics covered in the program are meant to challenge you and empower you through hands-on assignments and feedback, along with deeper discussions and an analytical eye on your own work.
Past students have come into the program at varying skill levels, and the feedback we have received has been similar across the board… that it is a life-changing program, worth every cent. -
Yes, NMFA can still work for you (if your goal is to have your work seen in some way).
The photography lessons will help with developing a deeper body of work and a new way of seeing and leaning into yor voice.
And the business lessons can be adapted to work for you. For example, the branding work instead turns into creating your artists statement and finding ways you will show up to create opportunities such as publications, exhibitions, etc.
Almost all business lessons can be adaptable and applicable to your goals.
With that said, joining the DFP Community Clubhouse may be a better fit for you because its main focus is on creating photographs.
-
No! We have had wedding photographers, fine art photographers, birth photographers, pet photographers and more in previous program runs.
The foundations and advanced concepts you will learn in NMFA can be applied to your work no matter the genre; however, the photography assignments are based around the documentary approach, which you can tweak to fit into your chosen approach/genre.
NMFA aims to provide you with courage and clarity in your photography and business, enabling you to continuously grow and find success in your work no matter the genre.
-
You will have access to the content via the DFP Education platform for 12 months (6 months during the program and then an additional 6 months after). Written content and templates are available for download. so you can you will have those for life!
-
It's okay to be nervous!
There could be several reasons for the nerves, whether it be the time investment, the financial investment, the worry that you are not "good enough" for the program, or any other number of things.
Our job as your mentors is to support you through those nerves and to provide you with an encouraging environment, turning those nerves into courage. You've got this! -
Yes. Graduates of the Accelerator will have the opportunity to enroll in an additional six months of mentorship, with continued photographic development, business implementation, feedback, and accountability.
The continuation is completely optional, and you don't need to make that decision when enrolling in the Accelerator. You will have plenty of mentorship in the 6 months, and then you can decide if you would like more.

THE HYPE:
Making good shit happen for photographers like you
“I loved my experience working with both of them.”
You will not regret No More F*ckin' Around! The support and accountability was absolutely wonderful and resulted in a massive growth in both my confidence and skills. The way that Jenna teaches and mentors both challenged and supported me to take more risks and develop a much stronger sense of personal style and voice in my work. Ash's classes on business and branding have helped me to distill my "why" down to an easy to explain message that has helped me reach more clients. I loved my experience working with both of them.
-Jordan Lyall
“…This was the best thing I could have done for my business and photography; it was worth every penny and every hour of Zoom…I want it to never end.”
I loved No More F*ckin’ Around. Amazing class! I was very ambivalent about signing up and did on the last possible day. This was the best thing I could have done for my business and photography; it was worth every penny and every hour of Zoom. I learned so much from these fantastic women and made so many amazing friends!
I will miss this class so much and I am tearing up just thinking about it.
-Jenn Nilsen
“This program is not just about photography, it’s about life. After this program, I am not just a better photographer, I am also a better person.”
NMFA was a changing point for me. Not only because you gave me strength to push out of my comfort zone and lean into my creativity, but because of your encouragement and lessons, I have the courage to photograph MY way. This program allowed me to know what my own voice is and that it is different than anyone else. I finally SEE and know what my vision and voice is - Thank you so much for that!
This program is not just about photography, it’s about life. After this program, I am not just a better photographer, I am also a better person.
-Raquel Ponte
“…Life Changing!”
Connecting with other photographers who are within a wide range of business/experience/development and helping others while having the supportive networking from those further along than I am. Getting to know three fabulous instructors who gave 100,000% of themselves and their time to us…
Life changing!
-Allexandra D.
“…a beautiful way of guiding you…”
What a freaking blast this class is. The learning includes photography, of course, but Jenna Shouldice and Ashleigh Raddatz have such a beautiful way of guiding you into yourself and the world around you through photography.
-Sarah Lappano
“…one of the best leaps of faith I've taken… they pushed with compassion, support, and a commitment to each student's growth.”
Signing up for the NMFA program was one of the best leaps of faith I've taken. I was a newbie and went in very intimidated. The talent in the class was incredible, but Ash Raddatz and Jenna Shouldice always met each student where they were with nothing but support and non-judgment. They took the time to get to know everyone individually and guided us all to find our own voice. It's not all fluff though; they will push you, they will push you hard. (I cried a few times, no lie.) But I was back the next week and better for it because they pushed with compassion, support, and a commitment to each student's growth. I grew so much as a photographer and learned how to market in a way that matched my values and my goals. And as a bonus, I laughed more times than I can count and created the most amazing friendships along the way (they don't charge extra for that). Do it!!

A Quick Note on Results:
We’re here to give you clarity, tools, support, and various strategies based on our experiences, but we can’t guarantee specific results. Your success depends on your own effort, commitment, follow-through, and unique circumstances.
Every photographer’s journey is different. We can’t predict where yours will go, but if you show up and do the work, this can be a powerful part of it and you will get a lot further than staying stuck and scrolling social media.
We give you just the real stuff that works when you work it, know what we mean?
No copy and paste, idealistic strategy that requires a severe Type A personality to keep up with (nothin’ against Type A’s btw)… because every photographer has a different background, different goals, and their own version of success. And let’s face it, us creatives are a bit messy and all over the place.
So instead of some “guru” bullshit, we give you support, clarity, and various ways to approach things, ideas, real world examples, helpful guidance, etc. and depending on your unique situation you choose what fits best for you.
