We’re Ash & Ana, DFP founders and your foul-mouthed wing-women reporting for duty.

We started the DFP Community in 2017 because we were fed up with feeling isolated and boxed in by one-size-fits-all approaches to documentary family photography and business.

And we had an inkling we weren’t the only ones.

Since then, DFP has grown into a global rebellion of documentary family photographers, transforming perspectives on what family really means and proving that you can shoot from the heart, grow your artistic practice & photography (while still making some damn good money if you wanna run a biz while you’re at it).
