Hi, I'm Vera. I am an observer and a passionate listener. A yes-woman to everything life has had to offer so far, even if it rarely went according to plan. I believe in the beauty of every day and the power of stories. Every life story counts, no matter how small one thinks it is. All of them are worth telling.
Being the second oldest of five children and a mother, I know what family chaos means. My motherhood sharpened further my focus on the importance of photographic storytelling. It can contribute so much to how we see ourselves and shift our narratives about family in general. I photograph families as a whole, taking nothing away and adding nothing because your genuineness is your strength.
